A time for wounded souls

To quench its thirst

A lifeless water
Waiting for the staff
To strike it
Yet with all this
What really has changed?


Life is not a prison
But a lesson
Life is not a pit
But a pathway

Only those who have learnt its secret
Can walk through it
Unscarred by the very flames
That consume it

Life we say is a journey
But how many of us

Are ready to walk this path?

To risk it all
For that one chance
That last breath
That one ride

Till we drop
All the past
And the negativity

Only then are we
Able to view the light ahead
